Proserpina accolse l’ombra di sé con cui si unì, conquistando la libertà dell’essere. Simbolo di coloro che sanno accettarsi nella totalità, condizione da cui può emergere (proserpere in latino) la reale essenza con cui fecondare il ventre della propria esistenza.
Germogli di condivisione: Il 10% del ricavato della vendita delle stampe verrà devoluto a una realtà attiva sul territorio nella prevenzione e/o accoglienza delle donne vittime di violenza.
Riproduzione: #PROSERPINA è riprodotta in stampa Fine Art in serie di 50 esemplari, ognuno firmato e numerato dall’artista con timbro a secco in rilievo, fornito con il relativo certificato d’autenticità.
Caratteristiche: Riproduzione creata dalla stamperia Emmanuel Urban sita in Castel San Pietro, Svizzera. Stampa su carta Hahnemühle Bright White 300 gr, prodotta utilizzando pigmenti Ultra Chrome K3 inks di Epson. La stampa viene prodotta su ordinazione e verrà inviata dopo ca. 10 giorni lavorativi. L’opera viene spedita arrotolata protetta da tubo di cartone.

Proserpina embraced the shadow of herself with whom she united, conquering the freedom of being. Symbol of those who know how to accept themselves in their wholeness, condition from which the real essence, with which to fertilise the womb of one's own existence, can emerge ("proserpere" in Latin).
The sprout of sharing: the 10% of the proceeds from the sale of the prints will be donated to a company active on the ground in the prevention or protection of violence against women.
Reproduction: #PROSERPINA is reproduced in Fine Art print in a series of 50 copies, each signed and numbered by the artist with embossed dry stamp, supplied with the relevant certificate of authenticity.
Characteristics: Reproduction created by the Emmanuel Urban printing house located in Castel San Pietro, Switzerland. Mito: Proserpina fu rapita da Plutone, dio del regno dei morti, di cui divenne la sposa. Figlia di Zeus e Cerere, dea delle messi, la madre per il gran dolore smise di adempiere ai suoi compiti provocando carestia e siccità.
Nel frattempo Proserpina ruppe il digiuno (condizione che le avrebbe permesso di tornare nel regno dei vivi) mangiando dei chicchi di melograno, azione che la legò per sempre all’oltretomba. Zeus, per rimediare a quanto stava accadendo sulla terra, scese negli inferi e si accordò con Plutone: per sei mesi Proserpina avrebbe potuto stare con la madre, periodo in cui nacquero la primavera e l’estate, mentre per i restanti sei sarebbe dovuta tornare dal marito, provocando l’autunno e l’inverno.
Al mito di Proserpina, dea degli inferi, si attribuisce l’origine delle stagioni, è considerata una divinità materna della terra, della fertilità e del sesso, oltre che protettrice dei raccolti; è considerata una dea libera.

Myth: Proserpina was kidnapped by Pluto, god of the realm of the dead, and became his wife. Daughter of Zeus and Ceres, goddess of harvest; her mother, due to her great suffering, stopped fulfilling her tasks, causing famine and drought. Meanwhile, Proserpina broke the fast (condition that would have allowed her to return to the realm of the living) by eating some pomegranate seeds, deed that bound her forever to the Underworld. Zeus, to remedy what was happening on earth, descended to hell and reached an agreement with Pluto: for six months Proserpina could stay with her mother, giving birth to spring and summer, whereas for the remaining six months she should have returned to her husband, thus bringing about autumn and winter.
To the myth of Proserpina, goddess of the Underworld, is attributed the origin of the seasons; she is considered a maternal deity of earth, fertility and sex, as well as the protectress of crops, she is considered a free goddess.
